The 3D Printed Vascular Tissue Scaffolds were recently developed by 3Dynamic Systems, a company in Swansea University, Wales. The scaffolds can be used to treat microtia and the company has announced that the commercial market can soon see these scaffolds which can be used for surgical therapy and transplantation while also speed up the field of reconstructive medicine.
