The very first Knee Replacement Surgery using Tantalum, an alloy of Titanium was successfully completed at the first hospital affiliated to AMU. Under the supervision of Professor Yang Liu, head of surgical department, implant was produced using CAD, 3D Printing technology and Tantalum metal for the patient named Zhang Jingui.
