According to an interview in 3DPrint, Peter Graven, a science teacher for 8th graders in Wisconsin, worked with his class to create a spiderman prosthetic hand for a local 5-year old.
A little over a year ago, Graven was able to successfully crowdsource a MakerBot Replicator 2 3D Academic Bundle from DonorsChoose.org. Since that time, he had been trying to come up with ideas of how he could use this printer within his classroom.
