robotic spinal surgery

The robotic technology mixed up with 3D Printing seems like a great idea. Thanks to ROSA, the robot, the dream is finally complete. A 6-year old handicapped suffering with genetic disorder called infantile spinal amyotrophy and severe progressive scoliosis was recently treated with spinal surgery held at University Hospital of Amiens in France. 3D Printed models helped the ROSA install ilio-sarcal screws and practice the complete surgery before the child received the treatment.
