Researchers develop 3D Printed Organ Models that react like Actual Organs

Dr. Robert Sweet, a urologist contacted a team of researchers led by University of Minnesota to develop 3D Printed Organ Models that were just not some piece of plastic. Using the University’s custom-built 3D Printer, they were able to 3D Print the Organ models that not only look like actual organs, but also feel like them and have same mechanical properties, including the sensors attached that help surgeons predict the tissue damage that can occur.
