 Metal 3D Printing becomes life savior of a Model suffering Fatal Injuries

Francesca Burr, a 28-year old woman suffered life-threatening when she fell down stairs while having a seizure and suffered multiple skull fractures, a cracked jaw, and a broken nose. She was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge and in February, the surgeons fitted a 3D printed titanium plate for Francesca’s skull.
